Wedding Arbors

A huge benefit to booking your wedding with us is all the outdoor wedding ceremony options available to you. We operate on the motto “wherever speaks to you” when it comes to where you should hold your ceremony on our 144-acre homestead. Our venue offers a TON of unique views. Here is a breakdown of our most tried & true ceremony locations on the property.

Wedding Arbor (Default - Black Latticework Arch)

Located down a small hill from The 609 or across the bridge from The Pavilion, our primary wedding arbor is this beautiful black latticework arch. Simple & elegant, it can be decorated easily to fit any taste. In 2024 we installed fans for the hotter months & began growing greenery up the structure with hopes of it providing even more shade once it reaches its full potential. The biggest highlight to using this location for your ceremony is our 40ft bridge being the dreamiest aisle to walk down for your grand entrance after being dropped off at the end by horse & carriage, vintage car, or with a dramatic art / smoke bomb reveal.

Venue staff pressure wash, mow, and place benches based on your customization preferences the day before your event. So all you have to do is show up & decorate! Power is available to this arbor to accommodate DJs or live music.

Forrest - Whimsical Woods Location

A short walk around the back pond beside The Pavilion is a gate that leads into the woods with a small connecting path to the property next door. This small patch of woods has been used for many whimsical weddings over the years. From a lord of the rings theme to a fairy wonderland, you can’t go wrong in our forest ceremony location.

Use the beauty of the trees in fall as your only backdrop, rent our round arch, or bring in your own arch to this beautiful hidden spot. The aisle is imperfect like the nature around it and gives you lots to be creative with.

Wedding Arbor (Willow Tree Layout)

Photography by Robert at Complete Weddings & Events North Georgia

Located to the right of our primary wedding arbor listed at the top of this blog. The Willow Tree Layout of our primary ceremony location is conveniently located between The 609 & Pavilion. Our staff places the benches facing a row of three large willow trees instead of the black latticework arch for your guests. Leaving the willow trees as the perfect natural backdrop with a pond and large fountain behind them to add to the magic. This layout is ideal for those looking to up the elegance and have a nice spot to put a live musician in. Since you won’t be using the black latticework arch you can instead put a pianist or harpist underneath it for access to power & use of the fans for their comfort while performing. Feel free to bring in your own arch for this spot as well to spice it up!

In Front of The 609

New in 2024, a lot of our brides decided to get married in the front lawn of The 609 Indoor Reception Hall. Either using the event space as a unique ceremony backdrop or flipping the guests around to face the pond and having a waterfront barn view for the ceremony for those going for a more rustic farm vibe. Easy access to the reception hall for larger weddings is ideal in this location. Guests can also watch the event from the large wrap around porch of the reception hall. Talk about a great photo opportunity!

This ceremony location is one of the more unique locations. Not used as often are the ones listed previously, so we personally think it is underrated. Our bridge & this willow tree offer a very unique, movie worthy back drop to your wedding. This is located in front of The 609 Reception Hall, so just as close of a walk to the reception space as the others.

Under the Willow Tree in front of The Pavilion

For the bride & groom considering The Pavilion for their reception with guests who may have mobility restrictions, this grand willow tree just a few steps in front of the pavilion is a popular ceremony backdrop option. Benches are placed in the gravel for guests and the lovely couple have the option of standing in front of the willow tree as pictured above or underneath it, surrounded by the willow tree branches for a more whimsical look.

Twilight fans? Consider bringing some hanging lights to drape all around the tree to add to the magic! Our staff will be happy to assist with this.

Gazebo Ceremony

Another popular spot closest to The Pavilion. Our primary gazebo has power, a waterfront view of two fountains in the background, and one of our oldest willow trees on the property right beside it. Making it ideal for ceremonies! The many pegs and posts adorning it make it simple to drape fabric, string fairy lights, and add decor of your choosing to customize it to your preferences.

We love supporting your creativity & vision.

All in all, our family & staff are here to make your dreams become a reality in whatever way we possibly can. See a spot we haven’t used for a ceremony before that you like? Let us know! We will work with you to find something unique and tailored to your specific needs.
